Can ELEKGO bike be used on public roads?
The products from ELEKGO comply with EU road regulations and can be legally used on the road. Additionally, all ELEKGO products are CE certified, specifically with EN 15194 certification. This certification will be included with your ebike. If you require a PDF version of the certificate, please reach out to us.
Can ELEKGO bike come with a throttle?
Ensure that ELEKGO's E-bike adheres to EU road regulations, resulting in the absence of a default throttle. However, you have the option to purchase a separate throttle based on your individual requirements.
Do you guys offer a refund or exchange?
New and unused products are able to be returned within 30 days from the date you received them.
How long will it take for my ELEKGO electric bike to arrive?
Generally, in-stock orders typically ship within 1 business day. Please allow 3~7 business days for your shipment to arrive at your address. The specific shipping time depends on where you are.

Technical Questions
Do I need to assemble the bike myself?
You only need a simple installation after receiving the bike. Each bike comes with an installation guide, and we will provide tools and comprehensive assembly videos. Typically, you can assemble your ELEKGO bike in 30 minutes.
Is your E-bike waterproof?/Can I rode in the rain?
Regarding the waterproof feature of our E-bike, it has a waterproof rating of IP54. Although it provides a certain level of protection against water, it is still vulnerable to damage when soaked for a long time. To ensure its longevity, we recommend avoiding use in rainy conditions and promptly drying it after use.
Do I need to charge my e-bike after receiving it?
Yes, after you have received your bike, it is advisable to charge it using the charger provided by ELEKGO for a duration of 5 hours to maximize its performance.
What should I do when the instrument has fault code E07?
E07 represents a motor failure. First, you need to check whether the Hall wire is broken and whether the plug is plugged in properly. If there are no problems with the above, you need to replace the motor.
How can I adjust instrument parameters?
You can press "+" and "-" at the same time to enter the parameter setting page, and then use the "M" key to switch parameters. Then change the parameters with "+" and "-".
P01 represents the brightness level of the backlight, level 1 is the brightest, level 2 is medium, and level 3 is the brightest. The default value is 2.
P02 represents the mileage unit, 0 represents KM, and 1 represents MILE.
P03 represents the voltage level.
P04 represents the sleep time, the unit is minutes, 0 means no sleep, other numbers are the sleep time. The default value is 10.
P05 represents the power assist gear, which is divided into 0 and 3 gear modes and 1 and 5 gear modes. The default value is 0.
P06 represents the wheel diameter, the unit is inch, and the accuracy is 0.1; this parameter is related to the speed displayed by the instrument and needs to be entered correctly. The default value is 20.
P07 represents the number of speed measuring magnets, the range is 1-100. The default value is 1
P08 represents the speed limit, the range is 0-100km/h, 100 represents no speed limit, the input data represents the maximum operating speed of the vehicle, the default value is 25. For example, enter 25, which means the maximum operating speed of the vehicle will not exceed 25km/h.
P09 represents the settings of zero start and non-zero start: 0 represents zero start; 1 represents non-zero start. The default value is 0.
P10 represents the drive mode setting, 0 is power-assisted drive, and the power assist gear is used to determine the amount of power output. At this time, the handlebar is invalid. 1 is electric drive, driven by the handlebar, and the power assist gear is invalid at this time. 2 is the coexistence of power-assisted drive and electric drive. The default value is 2.
P11 represents the boost sensitivity setting, and the default value is 3.
P12 represents the boost start intensity setting, the default value is 3.
P13 represents the setting of the power-assisted magnet disc type, which is divided into three types: 5, 8, and 12 grain magnets. The default value is 12.
P14 represents the current limit value setting of the controller, and the default value is 15±1A.
P15 represents the controller undervoltage value, and the default value is 29.
P16 represents ODO clearing setting. Press the + key for more than 5 seconds to clear.
P17 represents automatic cruise, 0 represents disabling cruise, and 1 represents enabling cruise. The default value is 1.
P18 represents display speed proportional adjustment. The default value is 100.
P19 represents the 0th gear enable bit, 0 means including 0th gear, 1 means not including 0th gear. The default value is 0.
P20 represents the viewing agreement, 0 represents the No. 2 agreement, 1 represents the 5S agreement, and 2 and 3 are both backup. The default value is 0.
It should be emphasized that the parameters are already set when leaving the factory. We do not recommend that you adjust the parameters yourself. If the instrument malfunctions due to you adjusting the parameters yourself, we will not provide warranty service.
